point at what stays

tide

--:--

source

Best on a photo, or a video that stays in one scene. A still frame is the ideal case: nothing drifts, and you can place several holes on the same moment. On a video, use pause on the plate to hold a frame. A cut to a new scene is detected and ends the current hole, then the new scene is surveyed on its own.

method

Fast smooths the surroundings across the gap in about 40 ms and downloads nothing. Detailed fetches a 27 MB reconstruction model and runs it on the CPU, which is far slower but does not smear.

pull

100

The hole strengthens as the tide runs. Small things go almost at once; a table or a couch holds on until it is strong enough, and below full force some things never move at all.
